Hasina, despite her busy schedule, spent some time with the children at SOS
Children's Village Dhaka on 30 March 2014.
The Prime Minister presented
chocolates, sweets and balloons to the children. They were also served special lunch on behalf
of the Prime Minister.
Having the Prime Minister
among them, children were delighted. The Prime Minister recalled her last visit
at SOS Children's Village Dhaka in January 2013 and inquired about the wellbeing
of the children.
Earlier, the National
Director and Deputy National Director of SOS Bangladesh, along with some
children and mothers, welcomed the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister's
Security Adviser Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Tarique Ahmed Siddiq, Bangabandhu Sheikh
Mujibur Rahmans grandson Radwan Mujib Siddiq, his wife Peppi Siddiq, their
daughter Leela and son Kaius Mujib Siddiq and PM's Special Assistant Mahbubul
Hoque Shakil were present among others on the occasion.
