International Mother's Day observed
in SOS Children's Villages in Bangladesh
'Ma' (mother) is a simple two-lettered Bangla word that
carries a profound feeling of connectedness. A mother's love for her children
has no geographical boundary. A mother understands the sorrows, pains,
pleasures, happiness, hunger, thirst, and the dreams of her children. When she
prays, she never prays for herself, but for her children. A mother is a
precious person whose small heart can accommodate the love for all her
children. Feelings among children in SOS Children's Villages in Bangladesh are
same and the mothers are the most respected and loving ones among them. That's why Mother's Day is a very special day
for the children here.
