SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh has received Rotary Humanitarian Service Award 2021-22 as a recognition of exemplary contribution to the society for bringing positive changes to the life of underprivileged community and children without adequate parental care. This award handed over during the Second Charter Anniversary of the Rotary Club of Dhaka Stars. District (D3281) Governor Barrister Mutasim Billah Faruqui and President of Rotary Club of Dhaka Stars Rtn. Zahirul Alam handed over the award to Dr. Md. Enamul Haque, National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh on 04 February 2022. District Governor Elect Engr. M A Wahab and Past District Governor Ishtiaque Zaman were also present in that event. District Governor expressed his aspiration to work for the betterment of the vulnerable children together with SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh.

Children, SOS mothers and co-workers were present in that ceremony along with District First Lady Rokeya Faruqui and other Past Presidents of different clubs, Rotaractors and Interactors. This award giving ceremony was organized by Rotary Club of Dhaka Stars in association with Rotary Club of Dhaka Rising Stars and Rotary Club of Gulshan at SOS Children’s Village Dhaka.
