Position: Computer Trainer

Location of Job: Dhaka

Nature of Job: Part-time (Hybrid mode - Physical and Virtual)

Experience: 1-2 years

Qualification: Graduation in any discipline with ICT-related certification

  • Candidates shall be well versed with computer applications such as teaching Ms-office, Advance Excel, PowerPoint, and Basic computer management (Experience in ICDL Basic & Advance certification will get priority).

  • Following the ICDL syllabus and prepare learners for ICDL certification.
  • Good Communication Skills in English

Position: Accountant - Emergency Response

Job Location: Sylhet

Nature of Job: Contractual (for 6 months)

Key Performance Area:

  • Manage and maintain Accounts of the programme as per project design.
  • Handle petty Cash, Cheque & Bank transaction and maintain register.
  • Prepare Bank Book, Cash Book and Voucher with tags and Top sheet.
  • Prepare monthly payroll, pay slip and disburse salary & allowances to the co-workers.
  • Prepare documents related to applicable VAT & Tax deduction and ensure deposit the same to the Govt. Exchequer.
  • Maintain all kinds of official Register.
  • Support purchase & sale committee in collecting quotations & preparing comparative statement.
  • Maintain liaison and report as per requirement of the donors.
  • Regular liaison with the Coordinator and give updated report of the programme.
  • Follow all the financial rules and regulation of the organization and maintain all government compliance regarding the programme.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum graduate in Commerce or Finance from a Govt. recognized university
  • Experienced candidates will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Good communication skills, proactive, team player and capability to work under pressure.

Position: Coordinator - Emergency Response

Job Location: Sylhet

Nature of Job: Contractual (for 6 months)

Key Performance Area:

  • Co-ordinate and implement the programme as per project design and in line with the organization Mission, Vision & Values.
  • Create strategic relationships with all stakeholders who are involved in the emergency programme, such as government agencies, community groups, employees, volunteers and non-government organizations.
  • Result and activity-based monitoring, Evaluation and documentation of the programme.
  • Organise training, meeting, workshops for capacity development of the programme staffs.
  • Maintain liaison and reporting as per requirement of the donors.
  • Manage and coordinate the programmer as per budget.
  • Follow all the financial rules and regulation of the organization and maintain all government compliance regarding the programme.
  • Regular liaison with the management of the organization and give update and report the progress of the programme.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Masters in Disaster Management/Development studies/ Social Work / Social Welfare / Social Science, English, not less than 2nd Division/Class in any Public Examination.
  • 4-5 years of experience in emergency Project Management.
  • Have Knowledge of Log Frame analysis and RBM monitoring tool.
  • Ability to produce analytical report, best practices for the development of the programme
  • Have knowledge of child rights & protection issues and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
  • Candidates should have a good command in English languages (both written and speaking).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and the internet is necessary and flexible to work in software.
  • Candidates are expected to have strong leadership quality, excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

  • Age Limit : 30 to 40 Years
  • Willingness to travel in the remote area to deal with the affected people.

Area of Responsibilities:

  • Actively support Children, SOS Mothers and Aunts by holding regular group or individual coaching/ counselling/ development sessions
  • Preparing annual development plan of every individual child by discussing with the child and mother, recording it, follow-up, reviewing once in a year.
  • To innovate ideas and learning environment on different aspects according to needs and considering situation of changing of everyday lives.
  • Plan and implement a suitable program to ensure good quality child and youth development and to meet the needs of all children, utilizing clear and concise routines, rules and limits.
  • Contact and maintain liaison on regular basis with schools/other educational institutions. Regularly update and promptly submit children/youths’ school records and monthly highlights of activities to the Director.
  • Encourage children to enrol into employable education & find out suitable technical courses and support child development activities to promote life skills & develop leadership qualities and healthy recreations for the children.
  • Maintain close communication with the village director on the development and progress of each child.
  • Writing reports (international standard) on the development of the children & youths, different programme activities, events, case study and success stories as per the requirement of the organisation.
  • Strong support to management & children to establish child rights.
  • Adherence to the Child Safeguarding Policy & Code of Conduct and Sexual Misconduct Regulation (PSHEA) of the organization.

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • Masters in Social Work/Social Welfare/Social Science, Psychology/Child Development and Family Relation, not less than 2nd Division/Class in any Public Examination.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as Social Worker especially in child-related organization.

  • Have knowledge of child rights & protection issues and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong command in English report writing and presentation.
  • High interpersonal skills and coordination skills.
  • Strong interest in the needs and development of the children.
  • Willing to work at and to stay in within SOS children’s village premises.
  • Willingness to make a long-term commitment.
  • Age 30-35 years

 

Salary & Benefits: Consolidated BDT 22,000/- and Single accommodation within the premises.  

After probation period of 06 (Six) months, upon confirmation, incumbent will be entitled to receive regular Salary Scale along with Festival Bonus, Contributory Provident Fund and Gratuity, Children’s Education Allowance, Group Insurance (Death & Accidental) as per existing policy of the organization.

Position: Officer- Digital Fundraising, Fund Development and Communications.

Location of Job: Dhaka

Area of Responsibilities:

  • Corporate donor mapping, research and competitor analysis to ensure smooth fundraising operation by developing corporate fundraising strategy of SOS Bangladesh.
  • Work closely with the CSR/sustainability teams, foundations, MNCs, HNI, local government and major donors to achieve fundraising annual target.
  • Preparing fundraising proposals and reports for the donors.
  • Organizing corporate meetings, donor visit and corporate fundraising events.
  • Work across teams to ensure retention and new donor acquisition.
  • Coordinate with corporations/organizations and keeps quality engagements before, during and after receipt of donations.
  • Handles volunteering activities, employee giving campaigns for both smalls group and individual donors.
  • Coordinate with the PD team including preparing project proposals, grant applications and project reporting.
  • Preparing donor database, reports and presentations.
  • Liaison with agencies and vendors like payment gateway, digital tools and other partners.
  • Safeguards documents and keep records accordingly.
  • Performs other tasks that me be directed by higher authorities as necessary for the smooth and continuous operations of the unit.
  • Adheres to and upholds the standards and principles of Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct to ensure the reputation of the organization.

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • At least three years’ experience in corporate sector.  
  • Post Graduate (preferable in MBA) from a Govt. recognized university.
  • Able to organise a busy and varied workload and priorities tasks to meet deadlines
  • Computer literate and able to use a range of IT products to a high standard
  • Good communication skills, proactive, team player and capability to work under pressure
  • Age limit: up to 35 years.

Area of Responsibilities:

  • Generate digital income through digital fundraising campaigns – paid advertising on Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and other social media platforms to acquire new donors and retain existing donors;
  • Work closely with Fundraising colleagues to create content, liaison with external vendors and provide overall support for the delivery of campaigns;
  • Work across teams to ensure online and offline fundraising campaigns are integrated and digital channels are used effectively for retention and new donor acquisition;
  • Manage social media channels and other online presences for SOS Bangladesh;
  • Manage the SOS Bangladesh website including regular updates, content changes, page creation etc.;
  • Perform research, competition mapping and maintain knowledge of best practices in the sector. Also, monitor digital fundraising trends, emerging audiences and competitor activity;
  • Manage reports, databases and present analysis from all digital fundraising activities &
  • Liaison with agencies and vendors like payment gateway, digital tools and other partners.

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • At least three years’ experience in digital marketing team in a reputed organization;
  • Master’s Degree preferably in Marketing not less than 2nd Division/Class in any public Examination (essential);
  • Proven track record in managing social media channels, paid campaigns across digital channels and content creation for the campaigns;
  • Demonstrable experience of using analytics tools and analysing data for decision-making;
  • Understanding of Google Analytics;
  • Design and creative skills (Adobe suite, Photoshop) will be a plus;
  • Experience in working with external agencies, such as digital media and creative agencies;
  • Able to organise a busy and varied workload and priorities tasks to meet deadlines;
